Autumn 2023 Mini Sessions

It’s once again time for my annual fall mini sessions, so today I’m sharing some favorites from my mini session days last autumn.

Fall mini sessions have become a fun tradition for a lot of my clients, and I love every opportunity to reconnect with each of you! It’s incredibly special to witness the growth, the changes, and the new chapters in your lives. Whether it’s seeing how your little one has grown over the past year or capturing the love and changes between you and your partner, these sessions are a tiny, beautiful celebration of your life.

As someone who takes a lot of inspiration from documentary photography, my goal is to capture your story authentically. I’m less concerned with perfect poses and more focused on the candid, raw, and emotional connections that make your family or relationship so special. Capturing these moments is important because life moves quickly. The changes from one year to the next are subtle but significant. Your love, your family, your story—they deserve to be preserved in a way that reflects who you truly are. Yes we’ll take some picture perfect family photos - but we’ll also get cute little moments that will end up being your favorites.

Utah is so beautiful, and we are so lucky to have bright, colorful mountain backdrops to use every year! Mini sessions this year will be taking place on October 5th, 6th, and 7th, at the same location as the photos in this gallery.
